OVERDUES:  Two overdue notices will be sent, and then borrowers will be billed for the book. Patrons are required to return books on the due date, whether or not the notices have been received. No accommodations will be made for borrowers living at a distance from the university. Stops will be placed on the home-library records of borrowers with long overdue items.

RECALLS:  Books borrowed through TexShare are subject to recall. The recall date replaces the original due date.

NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS:  Many classes of items in the library are "non-circulating," and therefore unavailable for TexShare borrowing. These classes include reference materials, periodicals, and microforms.

LOANS: The loan period for TexShare student borrowers is two weeks, with one renewal possible. The loan period for TexShare faculty borrowers is one semester.

FINES:   Library fines are $.10 a day, per item, with a maximum fine of $10.00. TexShare borrowers are charged for lost, damaged, or long-overdue items.

LOST ITEMS:   TexShare borrowers are billed automatically for lost books.
