LIMITATIONS:
Texshare patrons may borrow up to four books
at one time with one renewal. Borrowing privileges are revoked
if the patron has overdue books. Texshare borrowers do not
have interlibrary loan privileges or access to electronic
resources restricted by licensing agreements.
ELIGIBILITY: TexShare borrowers must present both a current
TexShare card and, also, a current ID from the institution
sponsoring their TexShare card.
CARD AVAILABILITY: UH Law Center patrons may apply for a
TexShare card at the Circulation Desk of the O\'Quinn Law
Library. A current Cougar One Card is required for issuance
of a TexShare card. Cards are issued during library hours
when a Circulation Supervisor is on duty. TexShare cards are
valid for the semester in which they are issued.
HOURS : Regular hours: Weekdays 7:30am
- midnight, Saturdays 9am - 7pm, Sundays 9am - 11pm.
Summer Hours: Weekdays 8am - 10pm, Saturdays 9am - 5pm,
Sundays Noon - 8pm. Hours vary during intersessions

RENEWAL OF MATERIALS : One renewal is allowed
unless the book has been requested by another patron. Overdue
material cannot be renewed until fines are paid. Renewals
may be made in person or over the telephone at: 713-743-2300.
RETURNS:Materials are returned to
the Circulation Desk of the O'Quinn Law Library. Materials
returned by mail are considered returned when the items
are checked in at the Circulation Desk.

OVERDUES:Patrons are responsible for the return of checked
out materials by the due date established by the library.
As a courtesy, the library issues up to two overdue notices.
Notices may be sent by either e-mail or regular mail. The
library is not responsible for undelivered overdue notices.
RECALLS:All books are subject to recall. If an item is recalled,
the due date on the recall notice replaces the due date originally
issued. Notices may be sent by either e-mail or regular mail.

NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS:All material listed in the library
catalog as Library Use Only is non-circulating. These materials
include looseleafs, codes, journals, and microforms.
LOAN POLICIES : Books may be borrowed for
two weeks with one two-week renewal.
FINES : Late fees: $.50 per day up
to $10. After $10 has been assessd, the late fees equal
the replacement price of the book plus processing fees.
LOST ITEMS:
Lost items fees are the replacement price of
the book plus processing fees.
BILLING:Please notify the library of lost books as soon
as possible to avoid billing and late fee charges by the university
accounting office.
