LIMITATIONS: TexShare Card holders
have the same borrowing privileges as regular Val Verde
County Library card holders. Please consult circulation
staff for current privileges.
ELIGIBILITY: TexShare Card holders
must present their TexShare Card plus photo ID to circulation
staff and fill out a form with information to be entered
in the Val Verde County Library database.
CARD AVAILABILITY: TexShare Card holders
may use their privileges during regular hours of operation.
HOURS:
10:00-7:00 Monday through Thursday
10:00-6:00 Friday
1:00-5:00 Saturday and Sunday
Library closed on all national and state holidays.
RENEWAL OF MATERIALS: TexShare
Card holders may renew items in person, by phone, or
by email. Some items may not be renewed, such as bestsellers
or reserves.
RETURNS: Val Verde County Library
items may be returned to the Circulation Desk during
regular hours or to the collection box in the parking
lot at any time. Electronic media such as videos, audio
books, and CD-ROMs must be returned to the Circulation
Desk.

OVERDUES: Reminders are not usually
sent for overdue items; however, telephone calls will
be made in an effort to get overdue items returned.
RECALLS: Recall of items will be
made by telephone.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Reference materials
and periodicals do not circulate.
LOANS: TexShare Card holders may borrow items for
the same time periods as Val Verde County Library card
holders; please ask for current lending rates at the
circulation desk.
FINES: TexShare Card holders
will be fined at the same rates as Val Verde County
Library card holders; please ask at the circulation
desk for current fine rates.
LOST ITEMS: An item is "lost"
when the borrower cannot return it; the library charges
the current retail price for the "lost" item.
BILLING: All fines and fees may be
paid in person or by mail to the Val Verde County Library
at 300 Spring Street, Del Rio, TX, 78840.
