LIMITATIONS: Texshare borrowers may not check out TEXAS Collection;
items limited to two per person; no checkouts if overdue items
or fines owed. Genealogy Library does not check out materials
at all. ELIGIBILITY: Apply in person at library; must be patron in
good standing, no unpaid fines or overdue items. Must present
picture I.D., references; if out-of-county patron, library
card from home library. Home library may be contacted. CARD AVAILABILITY: Hours are same as regular hours of operation.
Cards will be issued for one week per issue; may be renewed
if no overdue items or fines. Must be current library card
holder in good standing to be issued Texshare card. Staff
may revoke card if privileges are abused.
HOURS: 10:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M. Monday;
10:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. Tues. thru Friday;
9:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Saturday;

MAIL RETURN: 317 First Monday Lane, Canton, TX 75103
EXPRESS MAIL: SAME OVERDUES: Borrower is given notice of return date when item
is checked out of library. RECALLS: The borrower would be notified only if an item became
Past Due.
NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: Non-circulating items may be used
only in the library. All Reference,Texas Collection and Genealogy
items included.
LOAN POLICIES: One week per card issued; Card may be renewed
for one week at a time if Patron remains in good standing.
FINES: 15 cents per day for books and audio tapes; $1.00
per day for videos. Damaged or lost items require cost of
items plus $10.00. LOST ITEMS: An item is considered lost when the patron cannot
locate it to return it, or if it is not returned within 30
days of checkout. Full payment is due, which is the cost of
the item, plus $10.00 replace/restock fee. BILLING: No bills will be submitted; the patron must pay
Past Due fines at the library. The borrower's home library
will be notified after 30 days overdue in the event of failure
to pay.
