LIMITATIONS: Limit of 3 items per borrower.Books are for
2 weeks,Audios books are for 1 week.Can renew for 2 weeks
unless there is a reserve on the item.Any item marked \"R\"is
for in library use.No check outs to anyone with unpaid fines.
ELIGIBILITY: Patrons must have proof of their address. Driver's
license or something with a current mailing address,as a bill,personalized
checks,etc. CARD AVAILABILITY: Patrons can get a card when we are open
HOURS: Monday,Wednesday,Thursday from 9A. M.TO 5 P.M.
Tuesday for 11 A.M. to 7 P.M. AND
Saturday from 9 A.M. to 12noon.
The Library is Closed for the Holidays the County sets.
Christmas,New Years,Thanksgiving,Fourth of July, Veterans
Day,Martin Luther Kings Birthday,Good Friday, Memorial Day,
Labor Day,and Waller County Fair Day. RENEWAL OF MATERIALS:Renewal of Materials may be made in
Person, or by telephone if they have their card or card number.
RETURNS: Returns may be made to the library,inside during
open hours, in the book drop when we are closed, They may
be mailed to the Library. MAIL RETURN:

Hempstead,Texas 77445 EXPRESS MAIL: Same as above. OVERDUES: Borrowers are mailed an overdue notice. RECALLS: If a patron is on hold for a book, we will call
them when the books comes in. NON-CIRCULATING ITEMS: The Library does not circulate Reference
Books. These books have a \"R\" on them. LOAN POLICIES: Books,2 weeks. Audio Books, 1 Week. FINES: We have 10c per day for books.We do give a one day
grace period. Damaged items are charged according to damage
done to the items. LOST ITEMS: All lost items are charged the cost of the item
plus $5.00 processing fee. BILLING: Bills are to be paid at the Library,or mailed to
the Library. The money is due when they receive their notice
of amount. We can give the County Attorneys Office the patrons
charges to try to collect.It has to be $20.00 or more.
