The TexShare Interlibrary Loan Working Group is very pleased to announce that the 3d TexShare Interlibrary Loan Workshop will be held on November 19, 1999, in Dallas. Mary Jackson of the Association of Research Libraries, an internationally recognized speaker on ILL issues, and the author of "Measuring the Performance of Interlibrary Loan Operations in North American Research and College Libraries" will be a featured speaker. Georgia Harper, UT System attorney specializing in copyright, will discuss the Digital Millenium Copyright Act and other copyright issues as they pertain to interlibrary loan. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions. Before the workshop, check out her Crash Course in Copyright on the Web . The Group is considering a number of topics, including copyright and distance education, but we would be delighted to hear from you. If you have suggestions of topics and/or speakers, feel free to send them to Nancy Paine, UT-Austin or Scott Downing, Texas A&M Univ.-Commerce.
