TexShare Core Database Survey - 2005
 

This survey was posted online during the month of October 2005 in order to receive input from TexShare member libraries about the most crucial type of content needed by their institution. This is a
non-functioning survey. It is presented here in its original format for archival purposes only.

The Electronic Information Working Group (EIWG) developed the survey and it was sent to all member libraries of TexShare. The EIWG uses the results of the survey to help determine what is the most crucial type of database content needed by TexShare member libraries. This information helps the EIWG determine the types of databases to include in the bid for purchase for databases. Participation in the survey helps prioritize selections for potential new core TexShare databases. The survey asks to rank types of databases based on the importance of the content to the member institution. Members were asked to rank the content databases contain, not the database brand name or publisher.
